Prior experience, which can be gained during advanced degree studies, must include Thermochemical Stability Testing of EBC system materials in oxygen, water vapor, and CMAScontaining environments; Thermochemical stability testing of CMC matrix and bond coat materials in oxygen or water vapor containing environments; metallographic preparation of EBCs, CMCs, CMC matrix, and CMC bond coat materials; using characterization and analytic tools to identify and analyze reaction rates, diffusion rates, thermal expansion coefficients, and fundamental mechanisms of EBCs, after exposure to high temperature oxidation oxygen and steam and CMAS containing environments; using characterization and analytic tools to identify and analyze reaction rates and fundamental mechanisms of CMC matrix and CMC bond coat materials after exposure to high temperature oxidation oxygen and steam environments; and presenting and publishing technical information to experts in a technical field. Up to 10 domestic and international travel for business meetings.br br From J Mr. Golden earned a Masters degree in Material Science and Engineering on May 17, 2015 from the University of Virginia.
