Minimum education and experience required Masters degree in electrical engineering, or foreign equivalent degree, and 1 year experience in an electrical engineering position with automotive OEM working on automotive applications. Minimum skills required Must have 1 year work experience in each of the following development and analysis of embedded controls, electronic controls, and vehicle CAN bus; identification and resolution of vehicle system root cause issues; calibration of powertrain and battery control modules; definition of CAN bus and ECU messages and signals; use of MATLAB Simulink to run simulations on existing models, and use of simulated models to calibrate hardware; handson vehicle onroad data acquisition and use of MATLAB to analyze collected data; coordination of technicians work including issuance of work orders for mechanical work, equipment, operations and instrumentation. Experience may be acquired concurrently.br br This is a key engineering position requiring extensive knowledge of applicable engineering concepts. For this reason, Roush Management, LLC requires a Masters degree in electrical engineering, or foreign equivalent degree, and 1 year experience in an electrical engineering position with automotive OEM working on automotive applications.
