Bachelors degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, Law, or related field willing to accept foreign education equivalent plus six years of global trade advisory experience. Experience must include six years of providing advisory support regarding the legal import and export regulations and requirements, including international crossborder customs and health and safety requirements, process improvement, and trade systems automation; identifying legal requirements and processes to support compliance with issues related to product validation, classification, origin, supply chain security, and health and safety regulatory requirements for multinational clients in the pharmaceutical, health care, and food industries; reviewing operations to provide guidance on trade compliance issues, process gaps, and international regulatory changes; interfacing with government regulators to discuss import and export transactions; supporting mergers and acquisitions related due diligence investigations on trade matters; designing, maintaining, and auditing global importexport controls to manage and mitigate risk; managing embargoes, restricted parties, and products controls utilizing SAP Global Trade Services GTS module; and collaborating with crossfunctional teams to ensure corporate compliance goals are strategically aligned. In the alternative, the employer is willing to accept a masters degree and four years of experience as noted above. Position requires 70 travel.
