Must have professional engineering P.E. license. Must have experience in designing of auxiliary electric systems for power generation or critical infrastructure facilities minimum 4 years required; performing complex engineering calculations for power generation or critical infrastructure facilities minimum 2 years required. Must have demonstrated knowledge of cable sizing, DCUPS sizing, power system analysis utilizing load flow, motor starting and short circuit modules in ETAP or comparable tools and transformer sizing using Mathcad or comparable tools minimum 2 years required. Must have experience in using IEEE and other codes and standards, NEC and other guidelines, and best engineering practices relating to power generation or critical infrastructure facilities minimum 3 years required; designing onelines, panel schedules, wiring and schematics drawings, and electrical load list for projects minimum 3 years required; reviewing electrical drawings and electrical sections of other discipline drawings from vendors minimum 3 years required; technical side of procurement, bid evaluation, and recommending for equipment selection minimum 2 years required; contract administration of electrical equipment for projects minimum 1 year required; conceptual auxiliary electrical design for power generation facilities including combined cycle power plants minimum 1 year required; developing ratings, evaluating bids, and facilitating selection of electrical equipment minimum 1 year required, performing engineering calculations minimum 1 year required, preparing electrical drawings and deliverables for power generation proposal bids minimum 1 year required. Must have intermediate and demonstrated knowledge of construction and constructability practices and principles for power generation or critical infrastructure projects minimum of 1 year required. Must have good written and verbal communications skills in English.
