Bachelors or higher degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or related field willing to accept foreign education equivalent plus eighteen months of accounting and auditing experience. Experience must include eighteen months of performing audits of financial statements under Generally Accepted Auditing Standards GAAS, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles GAAP, Public Company Oversight Board PCAOB, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants AICPA auditing standards, and SarbanesOxley SOX; reviewing clients filings under SEC regulations for material errors and inconsistencies; participating in the review of 10Q, performing analytical review of audit documents, and preparing documentation supporting audit opinions; designing implementing, testing, and assessing deficiencies of internal controls; auditing financial statement balances and disclosure pursuant of FASB Accounting Standards Codification requirements; utilizing Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and advanced tools within Excel, including pivot tables, Vlookup, and macros; performing audit procedures and analyzing data utilizing Power BI; reviewing clients quarterly and annual financial information to identify potential accounting or auditing issues; and interacting directly with senior management of the engagement team and clients to discuss engagement findings, issues, and resolutions. Position requires 20 travel.
