cont. from H.11 assist the Project Manager in establishing task schedule and manpower; assist with reviewing contractor payment requests; review requests for substantial completion; organize, file and distribute documents utilizing eBuilder and Newforma software; assist in the implementation of firmwide strategies and collaborate with local project teams to insure Revit success; plan and set up project template and custom contents for project team and manage quality control in Revit modeling process and project maintenance to keep project team running smoothly; coordinate with Project Managers and Project Architects to identify Revit deliverables and ensure the Revit model and team is aligned with PerkinsWill standards, project scope and level of detail; act as first point of contact on projects for daily Revit and other design application questions and issues.br br Requires Bachelor of Architecture 5 year or foreign equivalent plus coursework or experience to include analyzing client needs and utilizing independent thinking to develop approaches in architectural design on different kinds of projects, including large scale 250,000 sq. ft. projects, from schematic design and design development, through construction documentation, including modifications to existing structural systems, space planning, and custom detailing; participating in urban infill development projects, including urban design, urban revitalization, urban planning, streetscapes, land use, and open space planning projects; analyzing sketches, photographs, notes, as built measurements and site survey of existing conditions other input material to determine best approaches for completion of drawings to solve technical issues of design in relation to site conditions, building structure, fire protection, and materials for intricate detailing; analyzing design concept of buildings and spaces in 2D3D, translating them into plan, elevation, and perspective view drawings; analyzing complicated 3D forms and translating into physical model for design development and presentations using wood working tools and digital fabrication software for laser cutter and 3D printer; preparing 3D energy simulation model to evaluate daily sun exposure, analyzing heat loads, and maximizing energy saving using Ecotect or related software; free hand sketching drawings such as perspectives, axonometrics, space plans, elevations, and details using pencils or markers; researching land use code compliance, building code compliance, barrier free compliance; creating and preparing design presentations using freehand sketches, 2D3D modeling and rendering, physical models, using AutoCAD, Maya, Rhino, Grasshopper, PhotoShop, Illustrator, InDesign, and SketchUp; translating clients functional and spatial requirements for structures into feasible design solutions; coordinating input from multiple partners to translate into site plans; conducting design and concept development for competitions requiring expedited concept development and document production; working in conjunction with sustainable design leadership in the continued improvement and development of highperformance design to maintain and improve the quality and consistency of built environment; coordinating with civil, mechanical, landscape, and structural consultants to incorporate engineering systems into unified design for client and agency review and approval; performing necessary modifications of drawings and specifications as construction projects progress; assisting the Project Manager in establishing task schedule; planning and setting up project template and custom contents for project team.
