Specific Skills

Any suitable combination of education, training or experience is acceptable. Requires a Masters degree in Genetic Counseling from an ACGC accredited program and 6 years of direct patient care experience, including at least 1 year of experience providing genetic counseling in an ophthalmic genetics clinicprogram, and participation in clinical trials and research for various genetic disorders, as well as a Pennsylvania Genetic Counselor license or eligibility for same and certification by the American Board of Genetic Counseling ABGC. Minimal travel 3 to attend conferences.
