Requires a masters or foreign equivalent degree in environmental engineering or a related field and 4 years of experience in the position offered or 4 years of experience managing environmental compliance systems in the integrated Pulp and Paper manufacturing industry, including applying OSHA, EPA, and state environmental regulations. Also requires 4 years of experience developing, implementing, and maintaining procedures, plans, and programs to ensure regulatory environmental compliance and continuous improvement; interfacing with state agencies regarding air or water permits to facilitate the construction or modification of plant emission sources; managing industrial environmental records, including entering and recording data into incident management databases and SDS systems; managing environmental incidents, including working with crossfunctional teams and legal counsel to conduct incident investigations and report findings to leadership; performing big data analytics on highfrequency data from multiple sources; leveraging manufacturing process data historians to perform analytics, calculations, and extract the data into other tools for analytics, regulatory calculations, and reporting. Requires 1 year of experience managing deliverables for projects spanning multiple manufacturing facilities across multiple divisions or business units; utilizing manufacturing execution systems and maintenance and work order software to coordinate work process flows across a manufacturing site to ensure environmental compliance; and managing projects, including funding requests and financial tracking, to introduce, deliver, and support new technology solutions.
