4 years of experience working as a genetic counselor in a clinical prenatal setting and 4 years of experience working as a genetic counselor in a clinical pediatric environment experience may be gained concurrently; Must have expertise of clinical knowledge at the interface of prenatal and pediatric patient care, and consistent demonstration of leadership and organizational skills; Must have prior experience with supervision and teaching of genetic counseling students and other health care professions; Board certified in Genetic Counseling by the American Board of Genetic Counseling ABGC; and Valid Genetic Counseling license or immediate eligibility from the Washington State Department of Health.
