Two 2 years of experience working with domestic and offshore special purpose vehicles. Prior experience must include two 2 years of performing tax work on a portfolio of IO, CDO, and MBS deals; preparing informational forms related to FBAR and FATCACRS filing requirements; assisting in legal entity setups including review of SS4s and 8832s; reviewing accountingrelated adjustments provided by operations and determining tax treatment; preparing ASC 740 tax accruals.; calculating and reviewing the necessary tax adjustments including wash sales, constructive sales, market discount and outside K1 pickups; reviewing partnership and corporate, federal and SALT tax returns; reviewing withholding forms including W9s and W8s; and, answering tax notices from federal and state tax agencies.
