Requires CNIM certification Certification for Neurophysiological Monitoring issued by ABRET American Board of Eletroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists, and 2 years of experience in Neurophysiology field. Additional skills to include Experience with surgical procedure being performed including blood pressure and other physiologic factors. Experience with anatomy of monitored pathways, including source of blood supply and electrode derivations and generators of Evoked Potential EP components. Experience with Preoperative deficits, intraoperative injuries and postoperative outcomes. Experience with Waveform changes. Experience with principles of modern anesthetic techniques.
