Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field willing to accept foreign education equivalent plus six years of accounting and auditing experience, including the technology industry. Experience must include six years of utilizing accounting software, journal entries, and automated tools to research accounting issues; overseeing the daytoday operations of multiple engagements; researching complex accounting issues related to client engagements; assisting with proposal preparation and identifying new business opportunities and addon sales; managing IPO filing processes for clients, including performing technical accounting research, drafting registration statements, and coordinating between various parties involved in IPO; interfacing directly with client management executives; and managing, training, and mentoring teams of junior staff members. In the alternative, the employer is willing to accept a Masters degree and 4 years of experience in as stated above. Experience must include two years of performing audits utilizing auditing techniques including risk assessment, audit scoping, devising audit approach, controls testing, and substantive audit testing including sampling techniques and auditing in accordance with US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles GAAP standards, US Generally Accepted Auditing Standards GAAS, Public Company Accounting Oversight Board PCAOB standards, AICPA, and SOX to produce highquality audits. Must possess CPA license or passage of all four parts of CPA examination. Position requires 80 travel.
