Specific Skills

Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or related, plus 5 years of related experience in the power delivery industry, including three years in substation protection controls design. Must have Professional Engineering P.E. license. Must have demonstrated knowledge in the following high voltage electrical or physical installation design of 69kV or greater voltage; and preparing electrical engineering deliverables including relaying oneline diagrams, potential interconnection diagrams, panel elevations, control house enclosures, protection control schematics, cable raceway and conduit plans for power substation facilities. Must have demonstrated knowledge in reviewing vendor or shop drawings for substation equipment; developing material lists for recommendations on substation equipment and materials selection; and performing substation engineering calculations such as conduit fill, voltage drop and ACDC station service loading. Must have good written and verbal communications skills in English. All applicants must be able to complete preemployment onboarding requirements if selected which may include anyall of the following criminalcivil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.
