Specific Skills

Must have FSA or equivalent professional designation and a Bachelors Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics or related field and 7 years of relevant experience; will also accept Masters in the same and 5 years of relevant experience. Must have at least 5 years actuarial experience in actuarial life insurance, including WL, UL with nolapse guarantees, term insurance products. Must have demonstrated ability with the following software including programming andor review of actuarial formulas GGYAXIS, MoSes, PolySystems, Excel, SQL, Access, Word, and VBA. Able to write actuarial reports in English, communicating complex actuarial and insurance concepts clearly. Capable of leading KC0 model validation projects of crossfunctional teams, coordinating and communicating among all parties, negotiating and training people outside the team to support the project, and bringing projects to ontime completion. Must have prior managerial experience. Also needs familiarity with annuity and health products, PBR, ALM, IFRS, GAAP, CFT, Statutory, and Tax accounting and reserving.
