Specific Skills

Bachelors Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field and 10 years of aerospace engineering experience. Requires Engine and Aircraft Fuel System development and integration experience with a minimum of one certification program, either Part 33 or Part 25 or foreign equivalent. Must include steady state and transient sizing, along with hazard assessments. Engine and Aircraft Fire Protection System development and integration experience is required through a minimum of one Part 25 certification program or foreign equivalent and must include fire detection, extinguishing and controller interfacing. Integrated Powerplant System IPPS integration experience is required with a minimum of one Part 25 certification programs or foreign equivalent. Must have experience with the phases of preliminary design, TRR, PDR, CDR and qualification. Must have production experience. Must have fuselage mounted podded engine Part 33 certification experience to support business jet Part 91 or 135 operations. Must have worked on a minimum of one engineaircraft program integrating some aspects of propulsion, APU, ECS, pylon, nacelle loft and antiicing. Must have worked on a minimum of one engineaircraft program and be familiar with all of the following EDPs, redundant hydraulic system design, emergency backup, system attenuation, actuation pressures and system responsesinteractions. Must have experience with requirements, design review, procurement and certification. In lieu of a Bachelors Degree and 10 years of experience will accept a Masters Degree and 8 years of experience or a PhD and 6 years of experience.
