The candidate must have an earned Ph.D. or Ed.D. in Early Childhood Education, Child or Human Development, Psychology, or a closely related field by August of 2019 doctoral education must have focused on children within the birth to eight age range Experience working with and understanding of children and families in a diverse context ethnicity, immigration status, language, socio economic status, ability, and family structure.
