Experience must include eighteen months of performing business and financial assetsliabilities valuations for mergers and acquisitions, tax purposes, management planning purposes, financial reporting, and regulatory reporting; performing valuations for estate and gift tax compliance, including valuations of operating companies ranging from small privatelyheld entities 50 to 500 million to large privatelyheld companies over 10 billion in value and valuations of holding companies discount study; performing valuation of intangible assets, including trademark, trade name, customer relationships, backlog, workforce, internally developed software technologies, and noncompete agreements; utilizing valuation techniques, including discounted cash flow method income approach, guideline public company method and guideline public transaction method market approach, and cost method asset approach; utilizing BlackScholesMerton option pricing model and Monte Carlo simulation model to value performancebased employee stock options and warrants in accordance with U.S. GAAP, including FASB ASC 718; preparing business enterprise valuation, intangible asset valuation and discount study reports; performing research and analysis using databases and websites, including Capital IQ, Bloomberg, ktMine, BVR Mergerstat, Stout Restricted Stock Study, Partnership Profiles, Dow Jones Factiva, IVolatility, Economic Intelligence Unit, and IBISWorld; conducting indepth client, economic, industry, competitor research and statisticaldata analysis; developing financial models and report templates for valuation engagements; and gathering information, interacting directly with clients, and preparing for and participating in client presentations.
