Bachelors or higher degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, or related field willing to accept foreign education equivalent plus eighteen months of experience in information technology auditing, risk, and controls. Experience must include eighteen months of performing assessments, remediation, integration, and control implementation in the Information Technology environment, including operating systems, databases, and financially relevant applications; identifying key systems and risks in IT environments, and developing timelines for deliverables; conducting risk assessments of General Information Technology controls GITCs; identifying, monitoring and providing insight on trends and disruptors to assist clients in making strategic decisions; designing and assessing internal controls in complex information technology systems; evaluating effectiveness of IT internal controls processes and operational performance in accordance with client and professional standards, including PCAOB and AICPA; conducting analysis of deficiencies of internal controls and impacts to financial statements; performing QC review of work performed by junior team members; liaising directly with client to discuss engagement direction and progress; and testing the underlying assumptions of strategic decisions governing UNIX and Windows Operating Systems, Active Directory, and Oracle and SQL databases. Position requires 80 travel.
