Specific Skills

Requires a masters or foreign equivalent degree in computer science or a related field. Education must include using algorithms, data structures, and computational complexity; applying OOP, OOD and functional programming principles; and building microservices in SpringJava or other strongly typed language. Education must also include one or more of the following building high performance distributed systems to solve large scale engineering challenges; designing, building and deploying high volume stream processing systems; designing, building and deploying distributed messaging queuing systems; or deploying production software using Kafka, Kubernetes, Elasticsearch, and PostgreSQL. In lieu of a masters degree, the employer will accept a bachelors or foreign equivalent degree in computer science or a related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or 2 years of programming experience in a professional environment. Also requires 2 years of experience using algorithms, data structures, and computational complexity; 2 years of experience applying OOP, OOD and functional programming principles. Requires 1 year of experience building microservices in SpringJava or other strongly typed language. Requires at least one of the following 1 year of experience building high performance distributed systems solving large scale engineering challenges; 2 years of experience designing, building and deploying high volume stream processing systems; 2 years of experience designing, building and deploying distributed messaging queuing systems; or 1 year of experience deploying production software using Kafka, Kubernetes, Elasticsearch, and PostgreSQL.
