Specific Skills

Must have a Ph.D. Degree, or foreign equivalent, in Physics, Geology, Astronomy, or Space Science. Must have three years of planetary science research experience. The three years of experience must include experience with computer modeling, numerical simulations, knowledge of how collisional disks evolve and accrete into satellites; mission data processing and calibration; and developed scientific software in multiple languages including IDL and FORTRAN. Experience need not be gained post Ph.D. Degree. Must travel 10 domestically and internationally.
