Bachelors or higher degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field willing to accept foreign education equivalent plus eighteen months of experience in accounting and auditing. Experience must include eighteen months of performing audits under Generally Accepted Auditing Standards GAAS, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles GAAP, Public Company Oversight Board PCAOB, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants AICPA auditing standards, and SarbanesOxley SOX; auditing financial statement balances and disclosures pursuant to FASB Accounting Standards Codification requirements; reviewing clients filings under SEC regulations for material errors and inconsistencies; auditing internal controls over financial reporting including SarbanesOxley Section 404; completing clients annual reports and interacting with clients to discuss engagement issues; working with complex areas of clients balance sheets and income statements, including goodwill, complex investments, management estimates, and income taxes; utilizing SQL, Tableau, and advanced Excel tools including Pivot Tables, VLookup, and macros; analyzing clients financial statements in compliance with ASC 605606; and mentoring and coaching junior staff. Less than 10 travel outside of normal commuting distance.
