Fluency in the Japanese language is required to fulfill the duties of this position. Shimomura Co., CPAs, P.C. provides a full range of accounting and financial services to international clients especially from Japan, both corporate and individual, for over ten 10 years. In fact, over 95 of our clients are either U.S. subsidiaries of Japanese companies or individual Japanese clients. Since most of our clients are Japanese clients who have minimal knowledge of the English language, the majority of our services are provided in Japanese. In fact, approximately 90 of our communication with our clients are in Japanese. As a consequence, our AuditAccounting Managers must also be able to manage accountingauditattest services and provide advice to our Japanese clients using accounting terminology in Japanese and English. In addition, she must oversee multiple, complex attestation projects and tax engagements, including review of financial statements and attest documents prepared by junior staff accountants that include information provided in both Japanese and English. In other words, because our AuditAccounting Manager will use Japanese on a daily basis, it would be extremely difficult for an AuditAccounting Manager to fulfill the duties of this position without complete fluency in written and spoken Japanese. Therefore, fluency in Japanese is an absolute business necessity for the AuditAccounting Manager position in question.
