Bachelors degree in Business Administration, any STEM degree field or a related field of study. Two years of experience in the position offered or a position in a related occupation. Must have two years of experience with Executing valuation programming using ProVal to prepare data and calculate liabilities of qualified pension plans and postretirement medical plans, and prepare accounting reports under ASC 715 and International Accounting Standards IAS 19R and funding reports under PPA; Working on expense projections, budget forecasts, and assumption selection for annual valuations and reviewing assumptions in accounting valuations to ensure that valuations are reasonable and compliant with ASOPs; Assisting clients with preparing and filing government forms using My Plan Administration Account myPAA and Relius to ensure compliance with Pension Benefit Guaranty Corp PBGC; Assisting in nondiscrimination testing for qualified pension plans and providing specialist audit support for pension and postretirement plans; Performing actuarial valuations in accordance with IRS regulations, Financial Accounting Standards Board FASB, and Accounting Standards Codification ASC; Reviewing benefit calculations for benefit splits from Qualified Domestic Relations Orders QDROs to ensure accuracy; Calculating net periodic pension cost and net periodic postretirement benefit cost under ASC 715 and International Financial Reporting Standards IFRS. 80 travel required. 80 travel required to various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.
