Doctorate of Audiology Degree AuD.br br 2 years of postgraduate audiology experience in the pediatric medical setting. 2 years of experience working in the inpatient setting performing diagnostic audiologic evaluations for medically complex patients, including behavioral test methods VRA, CPA, conventional as well as experience performing auditory brainstem response ABR testing at the bedside in the inpatient setting, including knowledge of troubleshooting techniques to improve ABR recordings in adverse testing environments those with high physiologic and electrical interference. 2 years of experience performing cochlear implant intraoperative testing for all 3 FDA approved cochlear implant manufacturers Advanced Bionics, Cochlear, MedEl, including experience performing advanced neural response telemetry in Custom Sound EP software, use of cochlear CR220 remote for intraoperative testing, and knowledge of which parameters to change when atypical measurements are encountered for all 3 manufacturers is required. 2 years of experience working on interdisciplinary cochlear implant team performing candidacy evaluations, device selection, and programming of all three FDA approved cochlear implant manufacturers, including demonstrated experience performing these tasks for patients with complex medical needs is required. 2 years of experience performing Auditory Brainstem Response ABR testing in natural sleep, and under sedation procedural andor general anesthesia, including using Biologic AEP software and Vivosonic ABR system is required, including experience identifying and interpreting atypical waveform morphology as well as knowledge of which parameter changes may improve morphology. Demonstrated experience providing training and supervision of Audiology Doctoral students. Demonstrated experience participating in clinical research projects and presenting at national conferences. Demonstrated experience providing patient and caregiver education and consultation to other professionals. Must hold the ASHA Clinical Certificate of Competence in Audiology CCCA or the ABA Board Certification in Audiology. Must be eligible for state audiology licensure in Massachusetts. Must be available to cover weekend oncall rotations, which includes triaging requests for inpatient services Friday evenings through Monday morning.br br Experience may be gained concurrently. Demonstrated experience is deemed equivalent to at least 6 months for work experience.br br SCHEDULE TuesdayFriday from 730am600pm.br br Will work primarily at Boston Childrens Hospital BCH in Boston located at 300 Longwood Ave., Boston MA 02115. May also work several days per month at satellite BCH locations 9 Hope Ave., Waltham, MA 02453 10 Centennial Dr., Peabody, MA 01960.br br As noted on Form ETA9141, the occupation 291181 Audiologists does not currently have an ACWIA Higher Education wage available through OES; the wage for 291011 Chiropractors was used as this is the closest occupation where OES has an ACWIA Higher Education wage entry.
