The position requires a Ph.D. in Biology or equivalent field of study plus at least two 2 years of experience in the following skills Realtime quantitative PCR protocol development for different applications; DNA and RNA extraction, purification and concentration from different tissues; Establishing cell cultures in normoxia as well as hypoxia conditions and initiating cell differentiation; Determining the particle detection range needed for specific applications in industry as well as in academic research; Detecting bacterial and cellular structure and organization, using staining and microscopy; Genomic data analysis using programming languages Python and R and bioinformatic skills. In addition, must have formal training in biostatistics, modeling biological systems, genetics, molecular evolution and evolutionary biology, as evidenced by graduate level coursework.
