This position requires a Bachelors degree or its foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automated Manufacturing Engineering or a related field and five 5 years of progressively responsible, postbaccalaureate related work experience.br br This position also requires experience with i Control theory to design systems with desired behaviors along the automated process line for the steel industry, as well as experience with tension, current, load sharing and motion control systems; ii Programmable Logic Controllers PLC based automation devices, as well as developing software in ladder logic, block diagrams and structured text; iii Selecting and configuring discrete, analog, and motion control hardware; iv Use, configuration and selection of Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition SCADA systems, as well as use of computers, networked data communications and Human Machine Interfaces HMI and other peripheral devices such as low voltage ACDC drives and motors, and discrete PID controllers to interface a process plant or machinery; v Preparing detailed drawing and schematics, including electrical drawings using Visio and AutoCAD software; and vi Defining the scope of a project based on the process needs or plant requirements, including generating functional descriptions and specifications, working on budgetary numbers, subcontracting the necessary activities, developing engineering and control software, selecting and installing hardware, starting up and commissioning the project.
