Position requires a Bachelors degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Industrial Design, Fine Arts, Ceramics or related field and four 4 years of experience as an Industrial Designer or related ceramics production andor ceramic or glass design experience; or a Masters degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Industrial Design, Fine Arts, Ceramics or related field and two 2 years of experience as an Industrial Designer or related ceramics production andor ceramic or glass design experience. Experience must have included two 2 years of experience with the following glass and ceramic coating development, application and heat treatment; porcelain manufacturing and slip casting procedures; decorative firing techniques; use of glass enamel pigments and colorants in development of ceramic products; ceramic material safety policies; technical troubleshooting of ceramic, metal and glass industrial processes; and, plaster mold making for ceramic production.
