Qualificationsbr br Earned Ph.D. by the start date of August 15, 2018. At least one degree must be in the area of apparel design and product development. Other degrees can be in related fields supporting apparel design and related technologies.br br Excellent communication skills, high standards and professional ethics, and be a team player.br br br Preferred Qualificationsbr br Teaching and apparel industry experience. Demonstrated knowledge of apparel design and product development, including some of the following areas design technology e.g., 3D body scanning, digital fabric printing, laser cutting, computeraided embroidery and quilting, 2D and 3D CAD applications e.g., patternmaking, textile design, graphic design, fashion illustration, apparel construction, creative and functional apparel design, patternmaking, draping and drafting, quality assurance, trend forecasting, and apparel production.
