We are also a national leader in home lending with loan centers across the country.br br Due to the technical nature of the services we provide and the myriad of regulatory requirements that our Bank must adhere to, Flagstar maintains its own inhouse IT department, which is responsible for designing software programs and maintaining our IT infrastructure specifically tailored to meet the needs of our Bank and to continually increase the efficiency of our services while protecting and maintaining the confidentiality of the financial and banking records of our customers.br br The position of Lead Application Developer IT is an essential position within our inhouse IT department. The role of the Lead Application Developer IT is lead a team of IT professionals in understanding and supporting the Banks business through the design, development and implementation of applications, application enhancements and new capabilities. The Lead Application Developer IT provides technical leadership in every stage of the software development life cycle SDLC, from analysis and design to program coding, testing, release and maintenance while adhering to current SDLC processes. Any failure to adequately design and safeguard our vast IT system has the potential to severely impact Flagstars ability to serve and protect the financial wellbeing of our customers.br br For the proffered position, it is necessary that the Lead Application Developer IT possess, at a minimum, a Bachelors Degree or foreign educational equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology or Engineering Computer, Electrical, or Electronics and a minimum of ten 10 years of development experience. Development experience in the FinanceLending industry is a plus. 3 years of the required 10 years must include experience with various Software Development Life Cycle methods such as Agile, designing and building Force.com applications, Visualforce metadriven development, web services SOAP or REST, source control management tools, and or integrating Salesforce with enterprise systems.
