The Korean American Senior Center, Inc. is a 501c3 notforprofit community based social service agency, serving individuals and families with limited resources and abilities. Over 90 of program participants of the Korean American Senior Center, Inc. are immigrants from Korea, or Korean elderly who speak Korean only and have limited understanding of English. As inherent to the nature of position, a case worker at the KoreanAmerican Senior Center, Inc. is required to communicate daily in the Korean language with program participants in order to interview and assess participants needs and eligibility, assist them with benefit applications and follow up.
