MINIMUM REQUIREMENTSbr br Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Tax, Law, or related field and 5 years of related work experience; or alternatively a Masters degree in Accounting, Finance, Tax, Law, or related field and 4 years of related work experience.br br Of the required work experience, must have 4 years of recent tax experience with a midsizeregional to large sizednational public accounting firm delivering tax compliance and reporting, including managing compliance engagements.br br Must have 4 years of experience with online research tools to perform tax analysis.br br Must have 2 years of experience working with Japanese corporations and decision making processes.br br Must have 1 year of experience reviewing tax returns prepared by junior tax professionals.br br Must have 1 year of experience managing tax compliance engagements, including engagementrelated budgeting and billing, serving as a primary point of contact for clients, and escalating issues to tax partners or executives as needed.br br Must have 1 year of experience with IRS Circular 230.br br Must meet one of the following criteria Active CPA certification or foreign equivalent; Sufficient educationalexperience requirements as determined by state Board of Accountancy to receive CPA certification within one year of hirepromotion; or member of the state bar or foreign equivalent.br br Fluency in Japanese.br br Requires travel up to 10 to serve client needs.br br Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience.
