1. Two years of experience must consist of work with an AB graphics Digicon ABG printing press or a flexographic printing press.br br 2. During the two years experience with an ABG printing press or a flexographic printing press, the applicant must have performed at least 13 of the following 18 dutiesbr br Follow company protocol to properly start equipment and inspect all components of printing press for functionality by pulling proofs to check for ink coverage, density, alignment and registration and by adjusting feed and tension controls;br br Receive and understand job instructions on the work ticket as it pertains to the ABG portion of the job to determine quantities to be printed, stock specifications, colors and operational methods or sequences;br br Set job parameters on press by programming equipment; adjusting digital files to alter fonts, graphics or color sequences, and verifying that paper and ink meet the specifications for given job;br br Set screening station;br br Mount hot stamp plate onto printing press;br br Mount embossing and debossing plats on press;br br Load printed sub substrate, adjust feed and tension controls, making necessary adjustments according to paper size;br br Register and set sheeter and sheeting station;br br Register and secure varnish plate to printing press and adjust tolerances by programming equipment for production tasks;br br Register die tool to printing press by programming equipment for production tasks;br br Register metal tooling to printing press by programming equipment for production tasks;br br Calibrate eye mark readers to ensure compliance with work instructions;br br Register and secure hot stamp plate to printing press and adjust tolerances by programming equipment for production tasks;br br Check and maintain web tension throughput run, making necessary adjustments as necessary;br br Check and maintain registration and cutting quality throughout a job by collecting and inspecting random samples during print runs to identify necessary adjustments;br br Constant verification of quality as job runs by monitoring automated press operation systems and responding to fault, error or alert messages and adjusting equipment control to regulate flow of production;br br Record operational or production data for use in future runs;br br Conduct general daily maintenance of printing press by cleaning, properly shutting down and adjusting printing press.
