In lieu of a Master of Science degree in Engineering, Biology, Bioengineering, Physics or a related technical field and 3 years of related experience in quality or compliance with a medical device company, employer will also accept a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Biology, Bioengineering, Physics or a related technical field plus 5 years of postbaccalaureate progressively responsible related experience in quality or compliance with a medical device company.br This position also requires at least 3 years of experience in the following applying knowledge of the FDA Quality System Regulation, ISO 13485, and the Medical Device Directive; Product risk assessment ISO 14971, requirements management and tracing, defect tracking, and configuration management techniques; quality techniques including Root Cause Analysis, Corrective and Preventive actions, sample size selection, Risk Management, or Failure Modes and Effects Analysis; industry standards e.g. ISO, IEEE, CMMI; FDA Quality System Regulations and their impact on internal procedures, quality, safety, and efficacy of products; experience with standards for the design, verification, and validation of medical device products; experience with regulatory requirements such as ISO 13485, ISO 14971, and 21 CFR 820.br This position requires up to 10 travel.
