Masters degree or foreign equivalent in bioinformatics, biology, or a related field. Alternatively, will accept a Bachelors degree in a related field plus two 2 years of experience inwith software development. Skills required demonstrated quantitative, computational and software development skills; demonstrated skill in processing and analysis of large genomics data sets WGS, WES, RNAseq, or ChIPseq in a bioinformaticsmolecular biology setting; biological softwarepipelines development and automation; programming in R and Python with an emphasis on scientific data; and programming in Java or C. Must have demonstrated ability to produce well designed, documented code. Must have demonstrated proficiency using version control systems e.g. Git, and documentation tools; functioning in a LinuxSGE cluster environment; using Unix shellSEDAWK scripting.
