Masters degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, or a related field, and one year of experience in analytical testing of pharmaceutical materials. Employer will accept a bachelors degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, or a related field, and five years of progressive experience in analytical testing of pharmaceutical materials. Must have at least one year in each of the following 1. Developing, designing, and implementing HPLC and UPLC methods; 2. Analytical testing on sample assay and impurities; 3. Conducting degradation studies, residual assay, dissolution profiles, and blend uniformity of unit dosage forms using preformulation and drug stability tests; 4. Performing dissolutions on finished and stability samples; 5. Using analytical instrumentation and pharmacokinetics; 6. Method development, validation, and precision in compliance with FDA, GMP, and GLP standards; and 7. Troubleshooting laboratory instruments.
