However, it is a business necessity for Sr. Director of Engineering to have at least 8 years of experience with MS or 10 years of experience with BS due to the seniority and complexity of the role. Someone with less experience would not have the requisite skills and knowledge for this senior level leadership position, including the ability to design and advise on SafeRides overall system architecture for all engineering projects; direct daily operations of the Engineering team; architect, drive and oversee long and shortterm technology solutions for the SafeRide Health platform; oversee and direct the QA automation team; advise and assist backend engineers in applying caching techniques to help scale the applications; and hire, manage and mentor Engineering team members.
