Systems engineering development using ASPICE ISO 26262 development process.br 2. Customer requirements analysis, system requirements breakdown, Define Architecture and system interfaces.br 3. Create DFMEA and support PFMEA development, functional safety analysis.br 4. Design verification and product validation testing.br 5. Using Vector tools, including CANape and CANoe for development, testing and debugging.br br Experience may be obtained concurrently.br br This is a key position with AAM, responsible in part for reviewing customer requirements and providing feasibility for the Electric Drive Unit EDU system; defining system level and performance requirements for EDU; defining system architecture and system interfaces; following ASPICE and ISO 26262 processes in defining system architecture, system requirements and ensuring bidirectional traceability; leading internal and external design reviews; acting as main interface with customers to debug and resolve system level issues; driving DFMEA and supporting PFMEA development, functional safety analysis; supporting system and sub system Inverter, cooling pump, etc. validation activities, such as characterization, calibration, limit samples, etc.; providing support with design verification and product validation testing from system level; and creating and maintaining commissioning documents, EOL process interface documents, developmentdebug tool configurations, etc. Because this is a key and critical position, requiring extensive knowledge of, as well as experience with, applicable concepts and complex engineering issues, a Bachelors Degree in Electronic, Electrical, Computer, or Mechanical Engineering, or foreign equivalent education, and 5 years post baccalaureate progressive experience working in the Automotive Industry, is required, as the position involves creating, releasing, and maintaining system documentation in project booksPLM and managing issues using IBM Rational tool; analyzing vehicle and bench data and modifying calibration parameters to achieve performance targets using Vector tools CANoe and CANape; and supporting EDU functional safety compliance.
