Because this is a key and critical position, requiring extensive knowledge of, as well as experience with, applicable concepts and complex engineering issues, a Bachelors Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related engineering field, or foreign equivalent education, and 5 years post baccalaureate progressive experience working in the automotive software development field, is required, as the position involves developing software to an ISO 26262 ASIL CD level; supporting issue analysis and corrective action definitions; and developing software in an ASPICE compliant process.
