Must have Bachelors degree in Computer Science, CIS, or related field plus 5 years of progressive experience in software development or IT consulting positions utilizingperforming the following Database technologies; Working on projects involving the implementation of solutions applying SLDC; DB2 and one or more of the following databases Netezza, POSTGRES, MongoDB andor Mysql; Multiple node HADR using IBM Tivoli Software Automation; DB patching automation using DMA tool; Performing Annual DR testing on IBM Tivoli Software Automation cluster by rebuilding cluster on DR side to bring the load balancer and DB online; Using various strategies such as storage replication and standalone DR database; Installing and upgrading IBM Tivoli Software Automation cluster based on DB2 version; Database Capacity planning based on usage and data growth; Automation of database maintenance jobs, including Backup, Reorg and Runsats; Resolving lock escalations on database by application; Rolling patching of databases on IBM Tivoli Software Automation servers with zero down time for application; Handling Incident, Problem and Change tickets related to database activities using Service now; Using nzbackup and nzrestore to backup and restore databases from one server to another server during the migration; Using nzsession, nzsystem, nz skew, nzstats and nz health utilities to monitor the skew and distribution of all tables and NPS server issues for better performance; Configuring, integrating, and maintaining all Development, QA, Staging and Production PostgreSQL databases within the organization; Performing backup, recovery, and upgrading of all of the PostgreSQL databases; Applying working knowledge on pgdump, pgbackrest, Patroni; RDBMS DB2 LUW, DB2 windows Connect, Netezza, MOngoDB, POSTGRESQL; OS Linux, AIX , Zlinux and Windows 7 and Windows 10; Tools TOAD, Tivoli monitoring, Spotlight, Data Studio, Putty, Winscp, Willy, Aginity Workbench, Dynatrace, GIT, Service ticketing, and TSA for AIX and LINUX systems; ETL Tools Informatica, Talend, and SSIS; and Scripting Shell, PowerShell, SQL and Python. In the alternative, employer will accept a Masters degree in Computer Science, CIS, or related field plus 3 years of experience in software development or IT consulting position utilizingperforming the aforementioned. Position may be eligible to work remotely but is based out of and reports to Truist offices in Wilson, NC. Must be available to travel to Wilson, NC regularly for meetings and reviews with manager and project teams within 24hours notice.
