Experience must include five years of performing audits under Generally Accepted Auditing Standards GAAS or Plan General Contable PGC, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles GAAP or PTC, Public Company Accounting Oversight Board PCAOB or ICAC, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants AICPA or PTC auditing standards, SarbanesOxley SOX, and International Financial Reporting Standards IFRS; performing risk assessment and leveraging data analytics to determine the nature, timing, and extent of audit procedures to perform that directly address the risks identified within the companys business process cycles; testing internal controls pursuant to SOX methodology for public companies and testing clients financial statement balances; scoping a worldwide audit and engaging overseas teams to ensure sufficient coverage and drafting detailed component team referral instructions to ensure the completed testing produces the required coverage of balances; working with companies to prepare consolidated financial statements and disclosures in accordance with IFRS, and US GAAP or PGC financial statement reporting requirements; performing accounting research using US GAAP Accounting Standard Codification ASC or IFRS to develop technical accounting memos that layout the appropriate accounting guidance for complex accounting issues; providing accounting guidance to clients in the media industry utilizing ASC 920, 926, and 928; and coaching and mentoring staff, conducting performance reviews and contributing to performance feedback and training, and helping to develop and communicate workplace culture and code of conduct. Experience must include two years of utilizing accounting and auditing experience to assist companies to go public via IPO or SPAC transaction by assessing IPOSPAC readiness, researching SEC reporting requirements, assessing companys internal control, providing technical accounting research, and assisting in the review of various SEC reporting documents, including S4, S8, 8KA, and Proxy Statements. Must possess U.S. CPA license or passage of all four parts of U.S. CPA examination.
