Must have at least a Bachelors degree, or foreign equivalent, in Systems Engineering, Information Technology,br Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related technical field, and at least 10 years of experiencebr working in the automotive field. Stated experience must include at least 5 years of experience in each of the following Developing item definition, Hazard and Risk Analysis, and ASIL determination, as per ISO 26262 and IECbr 61508 specifications; Developing functional safety requirements, technical safety requirements and technical safety architectures; Performing safety and reliability analysis using methods, such as FTA, FMEDA and diagnostic coveragebr analysis, as per ISO 26262 requirements; Creating and developing the DFMEA Design Failure mode and effect analysis for hardware and software design to analyze failure modes and their effects on the system; and Performing verification and validation of safety related embedded control systems. Stated experience must also include at least 2 years of experience in each of the following Developing functional safety work products for either electric, hybrid electric, or fuel cell electric vehicles;Performing hazard metric testing and fault injection testing, and defining safe limits of operation andbr potential safety hazards for operation beyond normal operations; and Working on at least 2 electrified production launch programs where the product reaches market.
