Specific Skills

This position requires a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree or a Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry degree from a dental program accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation CODA. This position also requires a current, valid license to practice dentistry in Indiana and requires CPR and DEA certification. Must have 2 years related experience. Must also have 12 months of experience with each of the following 1 Supervising and educating Dental Assistants assisting during the provision of clinical services; 2 Performing endodontic work and root canals; 3 Administering anesthetics during procedures and writing prescriptions for antibiotics or other medications as needed; 4 Providing preventative dental services including fluoride applications and oral hygiene instructions; and 5 Coordinating treatment plans with the office staff and reviewing patient treatment plans with parents or guardians to secure informed consent as required. Will accept experience gained concurrently.
