Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field or foreign equivalent. Five years experience as a CAE Director or related position working on at least two automotive programs from concept to launch.br br SKILLS Must have experience inbr br 1. Leading fast paced CAE teams in an automotive environment.br 2. Expert knowledge of Finite Element Analysis, Applied Solid Mechanics, Material Science and Numerical Methods within an automotive product development environment.br 3. Expert knowledge on different crash test modes and ATDs and the conflicting requirements among them including homologation tests of US, EU and other markets, NCAP tests, IIHS tests and other consumer information and due care tests, and the balance in the system performance optimization process.br 4. Advanced knowledge about CAE tools such as ANSA, Hyper Works, LSDyna, Primer or similar tools, their applications and limitations.br 5. Advanced knowledge about passive restraint systems i.e., airbags, seat belts and design parameters with respect to occupant protection.br 6. Knowledge of optimization tools and techniques.br 7. Experience with delivering analysis on difficult projects with tight timing constraints.
