Master of Fine Arts from a regionally accredited college or university or equivalent professional experience of four years and a significant body of credits. Credentials must be obtained prior to the start of employment. Preference is given to a sound editor andor designer with the ability to teach and develop sound theory and production courses and to collaborate with faculty in other areas, such as directing, producing, and performance. Proficiency in multiple areas of sound production, including recording, mixing, design, andor editing. We seek a professional filmmaker; the ideal candidate for the position is an experienced sound editor andor designer with a strong creative agenda who can employ a range of approaches and techniques to teach the art and craft of sound in filmmaking to students with a variety of professional goals.
