Specific Skills

We require a Bachelors degree in Architecture plus three years of architectural drafting experience. At least two years must include medical design collaborating with large scale health care systems including Level 1 Trauma Centers on small to medium scale healthcare projects; conducting medical planning and applied evidencebased design research during design phases; enhancing healthcare workflow; and applying The Systems Engineering Initiative for Patient Safety SEIPS model. At least one year must include general design experience, including working on commercial and residential projects; producing architectural documents in the schematic, design development, and construction phases of a project; generating design concepts and delivering renderings, animations, 3D printed models, supporting design competition 3D modeling, floor plansite plan layout and code analysis for projects that have been built or are currently under construction. In the alternative, we accept a Masters degree in Healthcare Design plus one year of general design experience set forth above. We require at least one year working with Revit, Rhino, Enscape, Lumion, InDesign, Illustrator, Bluebeam, NVIVO, SPSS, and Mendeley. Experience can be gained concurrently. Minimal travel to project sites across the US and to our Minneapolis office less than 10. The position is based in Minneapolis but we allow telecommuting from anywhere in the US. Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable.
