Cont. from H.14 provide responses to contractors requests for information RFIs and apply architectural principles to review and respond to contractor shop drawings, submittals, samples, mockups and change orders during construction for conformance with design intent; establish procedures for documenting project schedule, design decisions, scope changes and design process and CA communication tracking such as a log of all RFIs and submittals including date received, date returned and status of unreturned requests utilizing CA Database or other approved software; execute a detailed punch walk and prepare field observation, punch list and project closeout including record drawings and as built documents; incorporate BOMA Building owners and managers associations guidelines to developed detailed space layout and tables investigating rentable area for clients.br br Requires Bachelor of Architecture 5 year or foreign equivalent and 1 year of experience to include participating in all phases of multiple architectural projects inclusive of commercial market, including new construction, renovation, and tenant improvement from schematic design and design development through construction documentation and construction administration; translating clients functional and spatial requirements into feasible design guidelines, concept plans, development plans, and entitlement plans; creating diagrams illustrating spatial relationships, functional adjacencies and entertaining graphical design alternatives for client review as well as presenting design concepts to clients verbally; communicating design concepts through presentation drawings and packages using multiple 2D3D software including AutoCAD and building information modeling BIM software; studying impact of applicable zoning and building codes to determine project constraints; investigating sketches, notes, photographs, and site survey of existing conditions and other input material to determine best approaches for completion of drawings and solve issues of design in relation to site conditions, building structure, mechanical, electrical, plumbing; incorporating space planning,br programming into efficient designs and resolving conflicts that may arise during design and construction process; evaluating appropriateness of building information modeling BIM for proposed projects and assessed design integration of building components and systems; collaborating with consultants during design process to maintain design intent and comply with owner specifications; interacting with product manufacturing representatives for product designs for the project; coordinating design work of inhouse team members with different consultants including civil, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, MEPFP, structural, landscape, geotechnical, lighting, as well as structural and foster engineering systems into unified architectural designs; producing construction documentation, secure, and assisted client, tenant, and landlord in obtaining necessary permits and approvals from local agencies having jurisdiction; participating constantly in progress meetings with design team, clients, consultants, and public agencies in all phases of a given project and applying input from them into drawings; conducting necessary modifications of drawings and specifications as projects progress and changes in space plan, occupancy type, accessibility, materials, and other aspects of design arise from client, agency, or public input; assisting construction administration via construction site visits as well as review of construction for architectural coordination with installation of light fixtures, electrical equipment and HVAC system; providing responses to contractors requests for information RFIs and applying architectural principles to review and respond to contractor shop drawings, submittals, samples, mockups during construction for conformance with design intent; Cont. in K.
