All of our Geostructural Engineers have at least the education and experience listed in the minimum requirements, and we would not hire anyone for this position who did not possess these credentials. Specifically, the nature of this position requires someone with the ability to plan, analyze, report, prepare, and design civil engineering projects for excavation and to perform structural evaluation and assessment of slope stability, embankments and spillways. This requires the kind of advanced skills in engineering analysis, planning and design, best gained through a Masterslevel program where students learn civil engineering planning, analysis, reporting and design techniques and strategies. Furthermore, in order to successfully implement these techniques to evaluate and assess geostructural stability, the geostructural engineer must have handson experience in the field. The employer has determined that at least a Masters degree and 3 years of experience are required, and they would not hire someone without these credentials.
