Must have six years of experience in the following skills 1 Designing and maintaining relational databases including Oracle, MySQL, Postgres or SqlServer; 2 Translating customers needs and use cases into technical innovation and engineering solutions; 3 Systems engineering including Linux performance, memory management, IO tuning, configuration, security, networking, clusters and troubleshooting; 4 Storage engineering, including NAS, SAN, SSD, multipathing and caching; 5 Building and maintaining complex missioncritical production database systems; 6 Analyzing customer workloads and use cases, including performance, availability and scalability; 7 Working directly with customers, resolving database, systems and infrastructurerelated issues; 8 Knowledge of relational database internals locking, consistency, serialization, recovery paths; 9 Coding in procedural language for at least one database PLSQL, PLSQL, TSQL, or similar; 10 Understanding of data replication with experience in at least one replication technology; 11 General knowledge of the various types data stores relational, data warehouse, file stores, or others similar.
