Specific Skills

This position requires a Bachelors degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Chemical Engineering or related field and 5 years related progressive, postbaccalaureate experience. Must also have 12 months of experience which may have been gained concurrently with each of the following 1 preparing solution design by translating complex business requirements into technical requirements comprising of Virtualization, Onpremise and Cloud technologies; 2 building and designing solutions on multiple computing and virtualization technologies viz VMWare vSphere, Hyperconverged Infrastructure, public clouds viz. AWS and Azure; 3 working on Data center Transformation projects viz Datacenter Assessment, Consolidation, Migration using various migration strategies and methodologies; 4 visualizing customer pain areas and providing innovative solutions to address these areas by taking ownership of the assigned jobs and striving to meet them; and 5 working with OEMs and partners to design and build multicloud platform comprising of technologies including VMWare Tanzu, Kubernetes, containers and microservices. Up to 25 of domestic and international travel required. Position includes a telecommute benefit within commuting distance to a Byron Center, MIarea SpartanNash office, as directed.
