Must have 5 years of progressive experience in database administration or analyst positions demonstrating proficiency with following Database technologies; working on projects involving the implementation of solutions applying development life cycles SLDC; performing database administration in a financial services and IT solutions environment; planning, designing and implementing Oracle database platform changes and patch upgrades, migrations, using Oracle AWR and OS Watcher capacity tools; implementing mission critical database infrastructure solutions to ensure compliance with business continuity ratings and audit access policies; analysis of security vulnerabilities specific to the database environment in order to determine risk level and ensured databases are maintained with latest security updates; planning, designing, and implementing automated patch workflows using HPDMA tool; designing and automating regular patch activities using Python; providing production and nonproduction technical database support for any technical issues triaging, resolving, and providing root cause analysis for multiple database platforms, including Oracle, IBM Db2, and SAP databases; ensuring infrastructure changes adhered to Information Technology Infrastructure library ITIL, and Change Management, security access procedures and policies, using Oracle Automatic Workload Repository AWR and Oracle Enterprise Manager OEM; and assessing and testing database infrastructure changes service requests, automated incidents, and change management to evaluate business risk from a server, storage, network, and database perspective using Service Now and OEM. Position may be eligible to work remotely but is based out of and reports to Truist offices in Raleigh, NC. Must be available to travel to Raleigh, NC regularly for meetings and reviews with manager and project teams within 24hours notice.
